You're Invited to Holy Week at New Brighton Methodist Church!
Holy Week is one of the busiest times of the year for NBMC. This week tells a powerful story of sacrifice, love, betrayal, and ultimately, redemption, leading to the joyous celebration of Easter Sunday. Don't miss this wonderful time of fellowship, reflection and joy.
Palm Sunday: The Triumphal Entry
Join us at 11am to commemorate the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, as we waive our palm branches, and enjoy our second annual children's play - "The Stones Will Cry Out".

Maundy Thursday: The Last Supper
At 7pm right here at New Brighton Methodist Church we come together for our Maundy Thursday service, also called Holy Thursday - It commemorates the Last Supper Jesus shared with His disciples. The term "Maundy" comes from the Latin word "mandatum," meaning "command," highlighting Jesus’ instruction to love one another as He loved them (John 13:34).

Good Friday: The Crucifixion
Good Friday is undoubtedly the most sobering day of Holy Week, marking the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. This day serves as a solemn reminder of the magnitude of Jesus' sacrifice for humanity's sins. However, this wasn't a tragedy - it was an achievement - planned from the beginning of time because of the love Jesus has for you and I!

Easter Sunday: The Resurrection
Easter Sunday is the climactic celebration of Holy Week, commemorating the resurrection of Christ. The dawn of Easter embodies hope, renewal, and the promise of eternal life.
The resurrection signifies victory over sin and death, the cornerstone of our faith!
Don't forget to bring the kids - We have special gifts for each the kids and teens packed with devotionals, keepsakes and treats! (We're kind of known for our cool kids giveaways) We look forward to seeing you here!
